Risk Based Auditing & OpRisk Compliance |
| Event Details |
High-profile corporate failures having already led to the imposition of stricter standards by USA and other regulators in the western world, we now face an ongoing credit crunch that further threatens companies globally. With many companies in the Gulf countries moving towards placing a public offering, it is in the best interest of the public and governing authorities to ensure that those companies incorporate risk management solutions. Transparency in the identification, evaluation and management of risk is therefore becoming ever more important for all stakeholders, including the investment community. Those who can better manage their risks will benefit significantly, not only by protecting their own self-interests, but by cashing in on the failings of their competitors. Internal Audit should have its finger on the pulse of an organization and its contribution to the project cannot be overstated. A risk-based auditing approach, keeping senior management continuously apprised of developments, is fundamental to modern operational risk management.
This program is brought to our chapter by 4sight-tech.com (http://4sight-tech.com/) through Advanced Business Consultants, Oman.
