K Wayne Snipes Award for Best Medium Chapter in Asia for 2007
Best Newsletter Award (Worldwide) for Medium Chapters for 2006

ISACA-Muscat is the first chapter in the Middle East to have won the K Wayne Snipes Award for 2004 for the best Medium Chapter in Asia. This award, established in 1989, provides recognition to those chapters who meet or exceed special service goals by actively supporting local membership, and thus the Information system audit and control profession. Criteria assessment is based on the Chapter Activity Reports submitted annually to the International Headquarters. Chapter performance is assessed on chapter membership growth, member service projects, chapter-sponsored educational events, attendance at chapter meetings, involvement with other professional organisations etc.

The Chapter's website won the Silver Award for the year 2004.Every year, ISACA's International Membership Board reviews all chapter web sites linked from the ISACA International web site
( www.isaca.org/chapters). Chapters are recognized as gold-, silver, or bronze-level winners. The award is given based on the general look and professionalism in design. There are many parameters that have to be complied too.

Muscat Chapter repeated this feat by getting another Silver Award for the year 2005 for its website.
